1. Question: What is your standard turnaround time?
Answer: Files are generally processed within a few hours. We utilize a first in first out process. Larger files over a million records may require more time.
2. Question: Do I have to sign a contract?
Answer: No. We have learned that our customers will process over and over with us without a contract. This is because we offer the lowest prices, the best service, and quickest turnaround.
3. Question: What is your minimum charge?
Answer: Our minimum charge is $100.00. However, if you're sending files daily or weekly we will reduce our minimum and tie it to the frequency of your file submissions.
4. Question: What file formats do you support?
Answer: Our defined file format is fixed field text format. We have several various input lengths to allow you to carry any of your own data along with the record. Here is a link to the various formats in common database formats such as Access, Dbase, Excel and XML.
5. Question: How do I send and receive my completed files?
Answer: You will upload your file to our secure FTP site using the personal User ID and Password that we will supply to you. Once the file is uploaded, we will process your file and then place the completed file on the FTP secure server for you to download.
No one else will have access to your files.
6. Question: What do I get back from NCOALink?
Answer: Included in our service you will receive the USPS NCOALink service which provides standardized addresses including move information going back 48 months. Also, you will receive (at no additional charge) CASS reports, LACS (LACS is most commonly used to change rural-style addresses to city-style addresses or the renumber of existing addresses.), DPV (Delivery Point Verification, this is necessary for barcode mailing discounts) and Gender Identification.
7. Question: How far back does the processing go?
Answer: Your file is matched with the USPS NCOALink database going back 48 months. Any person, family, or business that submits a Change of Address Form will be in this database. In the case of multiple moves, the moves are chained together and the most current address is provided.
8. Question: What is your best price for NCOALink?
Answer: We research each month the prices that are being offered in the marketplace. Our goal is to provide NCOALink services at the most competitive pricing in the marketplace. If you have found a lower price someplace else, let us know and we will match or beat that price. We also offer discounts for mailers who submit files on a daily or weekly bases.
9. Question: How does your NCOALink differ from . . . . ?
Answer: First, your file will be matched against the full 48 month NCOALink database and not the limited 18 month database that some NCOALink competitors quote pricing upon. The full service NCOALink can only be performed by a USPS approved licensee. Each licensee is matching your file against the same USPS 48 month databases. The USPS tests each licensee to ensure that the results are the same. So, our results will be equal to any other processor in the country, but at a lower price with a shorter turnaround time. Plus, we offer additional services including CASS, LACS, DPV, DSF, Gender Identification, Name and Address Parsing at no additional charge.
10. Question: How do I get started?
Answer: In order to process a file, the list owner or the list broker must sign the Processing Acknowledgement Form. Once we receive the signed form we establish a user account and password for our secure, FTP server. US Postage regulations require that we call you to provide the user password for our service. Our secure FTP server can be accessed with an internal browser using the HTTP protocol; it does not require any FTP software to be installed.
